About the Role
The Manager Daylife/Nightlife is responsible for increasing revenue and creating an incredible guest experience in the nightclub.
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational needs of the venue including, but not limited to, venue repair & maintenance, OS&E inventory, setup and breakdown of nightly operation, setup and breakdown of private event needs.
- Responsible for conducting inventory and placing orders for product as needed.
- Encourages employees to participate in development of promotional and marketing concepts.
- Scheduling and staffing. Must be able to direct and supervise employees and provide strategic direction for the entertainment provided in each venue.
- Ensure venue performances are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule throughout the evening.
- Will also coordinate storage and maintenance of props and costumes.
- Responsible for ensuring that all staff and management team members make guest experience their number one priority through leadership by example.
- Enforces responsible alcohol service practices. Requires appropriate training for all managers and team members who are involved with or responsible for alcohol service.
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate good communication and customer service skills
- Experience preferred in managing a high-volume nightlife environment
- Experience with POS systems
