About the company and the project:A leading online bookstore and market services for educational institutions in the United States is looking for a Middle QA Engineer.The company's product is a full-service online solution that allows you to save significantly on textbooks and other learning materials, as well as give administrators and teachers control over the entire process. Since its inception, the service has saved more than $161 million for university and college students.You'll be part of a close-knit team and work remotely from anywhere in the world.Your tasks on the position:Perform manual and automated testing of web applications with an emphasis on UI, API, and system integrationDevelop, refine, and execute test plans and test cases, ensuring product qualityCollaborate with the team to test the client-server and micro-service architecture using technologies such as HTTP, JSON and REST APICreate and maintain automated scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Ghost InspectorUse tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and basic SQL knowledge to track and verify test resultsRequirements:2+ years of experience as a manual QAStrong middle-level skill or higherUnderstanding of the following technologies: HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs and client-server architecture, microservices architectureExperience in complex integrated web applications UI and API testingBasic knowledge of SQL.
