We’re looking for a Multiskilled Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

**The shift pattern for this position is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on a 2-2-3 continental rotation**

This hands-on role, within our brand-new facility, is essential to ensuring the smooth flow of operations—from the safe receipt and inspection of fresh produce, through to accurate order picking and dispatch. You’ll be working as part of a supportive, fast-paced team, using modern equipment to maintain efficiency and uphold our high standards for product handling and food safety. As part of the role, a valid forklift license is required, as you’ll be operating machinery to move stock safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate a variety of MHE, including pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks.
• Inspect incoming fresh produce deliveries to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Safely operate forklifts within a high-traffic, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Efficiently load and unload fresh produce, ensuring precise placement on racking or pallets.
• Transport goods from storage areas to loading zones for timely dispatch.
• Unload deliveries and securely relocate goods to designated storage locations.
• Conduct routine forklift inspections, identifying and reporting any faults or damages.
• Stay informed on health and safety regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of forklift operating procedures.
• Provide support and coverage for the Team Leader role as needed, ensuring operational continuity.

• Experience working within a fast-paced environment
• Must hold a valid forklift license and have experience operating a forklift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in following instructions and adhering to procedures
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous experience handling fresh produce

• Salary ranges depending on experience from £13.49
