We are seeking a skilled OMS Developer with 4-8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain Order Management Systems (OMS) with a strong focus on IBM Sterling OMS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERP modules, Sterling OMS, and order fulfillment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and quality assurance teams, to enhance system functionalities and ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling OMS, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- OMS Customization: Configure, customize, and extend Sterling OMS modules to meet business requirements.
- Integration: Develop and manage integrations between OMS and ERP systems, supply chain platforms, payment gateways, and third-party logistics providers.
- Order Lifecycle Management: Optimize order processing workflows, including order capture, orchestration, inventory management, payment processing, and fulfillment.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the OMS platform operates efficiently by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, improving system performance, and optimizing database queries.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OMS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and effective resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business teams, solution architects, and DevOps teams to align OMS functionalities with business needs.
- Code Review & Best Practices: Maintain high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation for OMS configurations, workflows, and integration points.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in OMS development, with expertise in IBM Sterling OMS.
- Strong understanding of Sterling OMS modules, APIs, and configurations.
- Experience integrating Sterling OMS with ERP modules such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of order lifecycle management, inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, SOAP/RESTful Web Services for OMS development and integration.
- Experience with database management (SQL, DB2, or Oracle) in an OMS environment.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in IBM Sterling OMS or related technologies.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in OMS environments.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and e-commerce solutions.
