Job Description

The ideal person will act as a senior partner and change agent to team members across the organization and will deliver value-added counsel that reflects business objectives and Tapcheck culture. This role will report to the Vice President of People. This individual will be responsible for the support and implementation of new processes and systems, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent management and compliance for an assigned client group (Product & Engineering).  This role will serve various levels within the organization from executives to team members.What You’ll Do: Conducts weekly meetings with respective business leadersServes as a consultative subject matter expert who will establish best practice tools across assigned functionsServes as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for employee relations and performance issuesImplement/optimize talent solutions and people programs that are aligned with the needs of the businessCoaches people leaders to optimize leadership strengths and capabilitiesKeep informed on changes to People policies or programs and educate employeesMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment lawsAll other duties as assigned or necessaryWhat You’ll Bring: 8+ years’ working experience, in a similar or senior role in a Human Resources function4 years’ experience supporting product and engineering client groups in a start-up company highly preferredDemonstrated experience of Microsoft Office productivity, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent time management skills and able to cope well with a high volume of work. Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines, while being flexible as a dynamic environment requiresAbility to maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility, in a professional and discreet mannTake initiative and have a growth mindsetBachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development; might consider a combination of other education, certificate in related area and/or relevant work experienceAt this time, Tapcheck does not provide sponsorship for employment-based visas (e.g., H-b, L-1, TN, etc.).
