QS4QS is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic PlanSwift Trainer - Visiting Lecturer to join our academic team. This part-time position involves delivering high-quality instruction on the PlanSwift software, one of the leading tools in the construction and estimating industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PlanSwift, along with a passion for teaching and helping students develop their skills in digital estimating and project management.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver informative lectures and practical training sessions on the use of PlanSwift for construction estimation and project management.Develop instructional materials, including user guides, course outlines, and training exercises that facilitate effective learning.Assess student understanding through hands-on exercises, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their development.Mentor students in their use of PlanSwift and help them gain confidence in applying the software to real-world scenarios.Collaborate with faculty members to refine course content and integrate industry best practices into the training program.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and features of PlanSwift software, incorporating these updates into lesson plans.Encourage student participation and engagement to create an interactive and supportive learning environment.Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the enhancement of the PlanSwift training program. Master's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Significant professional experience using PlanSwift in a construction or estimating context.Previous teaching or training experience in higher education or professional development is highly desirable.Strong understanding of construction estimating principles, practices, and software applications.Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills.Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.Proficient in using PlanSwift software and other relevant technology tools.Commitment to academic excellence and student success.Flexibility to teach on a part-time basis and availability for consultation with students outside of class hours.
