This is a Melbourne-based role with ProcessPath, a sister business of JourneyOne.
As a Power Platform Technical / Functional Consultant, you’ll be working closely with clients to understand their needs, designing human-centred solutions, and leading the delivery of apps, automations, and insights using tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You’ll help organisations embrace digital transformation – from ideation to implementation – with governance, scalability, and business value at the core.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to define business problems and translate them into functional and technical designs
- Build and configure solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite
- Facilitate workshops and demos to engage stakeholders and gather feedback
- Establish strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across business and IT, ensuring alignment, transparency, and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with delivery leads, designers, and developers to ensure quality outcomes
- Support client upskilling and adoption through training and documentation
- Contribute to solution governance, standards, and patterns across client environments
- Stay on the pulse of new Power Platform features and trends
5+ Years of consulting experience, including:
- Experience in technical or functional consulting with Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong understanding of business processes, and ability to map and improve them
- Ability to elicit requirements and turn them into effective user stories or designs
- Solid knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and ideally Power BI
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 integration
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A growth mindset, and a natural curiosity for solving problems with technology
Desirable
- Business consulting and SCRUM master exposure
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (particularly Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service modules)
- Familiarity with solution architecture and Power Platform governance best practices
- Exposure to Azure services, custom connectors, or integration with external systems
- Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Dynamics 365
