Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 37 hours per week

Location: Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 3QU

What can you expect?

As a Resource Planner/Scheduler, you will be optimising the allocation of resources to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the company. Your role is critical in coordinating and scheduling services that meet client expectations while maintaining high operational standards.

This may include:

• Assigning and scheduling Service Engineers to jobs based on geographical location and skill set
• Managing the daily workloads of Service Engineers to ensure timely completion of client requests
• Communicating effectively with clients to confirm service appointments and provide updates on scheduling
• Monitoring the status of ongoing service requests and adjusting schedules as needed
• Keeping accurate records and documentation of scheduling activities and resource allocation
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Collaborating with internal departments to align on resource needs and schedules

What do I need?

• Experience in resource planning, scheduling, or similar coordination roles
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
