FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Risk Officer in our Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

This role places you at the core of trading operations, managing risk and ensuring seamless execution of CFD & Futures contracts. You'll oversee information flows across back and middle office and third-party risk systems, gaining hands-on experience in market risk, trade execution, and the full trade cycle - key for career growth in financial markets.

Reporting to: Head of Risk

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with departments such as finance, legal, operations, and IT to understand and address risk factors
• Foster a culture of risk awareness across the organization
• Continuously monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies
• Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, providing updates on risk trends

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in the CFD industry
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Hands-on experience with MT4 and MT5 and Ctrader trading platforms
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Team player with a collaborative and proactive attitude
• Ability to work on-site in shifts (08:00 - 16:00, 16:00 - 00:00)
• Relevant certification will be considered an advantage
