SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

Key Accountabilities

Elval expands its sustainability team, with great ambition for the future of aluminium products and solutions, within the context of circular economy and climate change mitigation.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join a leading manufacturing company with global export orientation and focus on excellence.

Key accountabilities as a Sustainability Manager

• Engage in a variety of sustainability-related team projects, including ESG/sustainability reporting, risk assessment, certifications, strategy and policies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory environment, including new Reporting and Due Diligence Directives (eg CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CDDD)
• Engage with customers and understand their sustainability objectives, align roadmaps and actively support requests, common targets and collaborations, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
• Monitor and address customer, market, regulatory and business challenges and trends
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams in various projects
• Maintain and update records, data and communications

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree on Environmental or Technical studies
• Master’s degree on Environment, Sustainability, Business Development or related subjects
• Previous professional experience of 2-3 years in the field will be considered a plus
• Strong and proven oral and written communication skills (ENG&GR)
• Good understanding on the field on Sustainability, Circular Economy and recycling, Carbon footprint and Decarbonization and how they link to business value
• Broad understanding of the key context and sustainability challenges of industry and society will be considered an asset
• Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in teams with various roles and under strict deadlines
• Dedication to grow and learn
