At VERAL, we conceive, design and produce innovative products for beauty brands worldwide, providing comprehensive start to end services.With offices in Athens and Paris, we are proud of our international presence in more than 40 countries worldwide.We stand out for our commitment to high-quality standards and our relentless pursuit of excellence, driven by our dynamic teams.We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge beauty solutions that enhance our customers' satisfaction and well-being.If you are confident in your expertise and professional potential, and your values align with VERAL’s core principles of Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility, Initiative, Productivity, Continuous Learning and Excellence, we strongly encourage you to contact us by submitting your CV.Main Responsibilities:Register and maintain accounting entries (expenses, purchases, fixed assets, etc.) in company ledgers, ensuring compliance with Greek GAAP.Reconcile accounts and review balance sheets regularly, investigating discrepancies and taking corrective actions as needed.Invoice products accurately, applying correct pricing and terms.Process vendor and supplier invoices for e-books operations, ensuring tax compliance through the MyData platform.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Reconcile company bank accounts regularly and assist in implementing monthly closing operations.Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor-related regulations.Assist in audits, financial reporting, and team collaboration to meet financial objectives.Provide support during monthly and annual audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.5+ years of experience in a structured accounting department, preferably in manufacturing.Knowledge of Accounting Standards, Greek General Chart of Accounts, and Tax Legislation.Familiarity with Greek Labor Legislation and payroll processing (knowledge of the ERGANI system is a plus).Accounting License A’.Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Experience with ERP systems and EPSILON Payroll Business Software.Excellent command of the English language.Analytical thinking with attention to detail.Strong teamwork, collaboration, and time management skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.Strong work ethic and a keen desire for professional development and continuous learning.
