  • Creating, sending, following up and reconciling of customer invoices.
  • Checking supplier invoices and processing payments once approved. 
  • Take charge of overseeing, manning, and reconciling bank accounts.
  • Working closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve any billing-related disputes on supplier invoices.
  • Ensuring transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
  • Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
  • Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with various internal departments and/or customers.
  • Preparation of VAT, tax, and statutory reporting.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Undertaking all assigned work in an organised and methodical way and ensuring that key deadlines are respected at all times. 
  • Assisting with the external financial statements audit process and liaising with external auditors and Consultants.
  • Providing assistance to stakeholders and customers as needed.
  • Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions within the company.
  • Assisting the Head of Finance with other duties as required.
  • Any other task assigned by the Head of Finance or management.
  • An advanced level of education in Accounts and three years of experience; or five years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork approach.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
  • A “can do” approach with the aptitude to learn and take ownership for your self-development.
