Apply Now- Creating, sending, following up and reconciling of customer invoices.
- Checking supplier invoices and processing payments once approved.
- Take charge of overseeing, manning, and reconciling bank accounts.
- Working closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve any billing-related disputes on supplier invoices.
- Ensuring transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
- Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
- Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with various internal departments and/or customers.
- Preparation of VAT, tax, and statutory reporting.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Undertaking all assigned work in an organised and methodical way and ensuring that key deadlines are respected at all times.
- Assisting with the external financial statements audit process and liaising with external auditors and Consultants.
- Providing assistance to stakeholders and customers as needed.
- Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions within the company.
- Assisting the Head of Finance with other duties as required.
- Any other task assigned by the Head of Finance or management.
- An advanced level of education in Accounts and three years of experience; or five years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork approach.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
- A “can do” approach with the aptitude to learn and take ownership for your self-development.
