Our client, a leader in AI-powered social intelligence solutions, is looking for a dynamic Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies, enabling seamless delivery and scaling of innovative SaaS solutions in a data-driven environment.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will work on developing, testing and maintaining our Big Data architecture. Our ideal team member will have the proper computer science/engineering expertise, deep knowledge of data engineering principles, natural curiosity and a creative mind. You will operate in a high-end environment with state-of-the-art systems and approaches, joining a team of data specialists. We will rely on you to recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.What You’ll Do:Work on and enhance our Big Data infrastructure and servicesJoin a team of experts from various fields to provide better end-user solutionsTake full responsibility of the data processing pipeline, including data import, cleaning, storing and processing of large amounts of dataShare knowledge and be a critical bridging actor among the various teams inside the teamFollow best practices and keep up with emerging technologies/industry trendsActively contribute to taking Data Engineering of the company to the next level Great programming skills and deep knowledge of software development principlesProduction experience with Cloud infrastructure, preferably with AzureExtensive experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch 8 & Kibana)Deep knowledge of PythonExtensive experience with Relational Databases and/or NoSQL systemsTeam spirit and willingness to learn from as well as mentor othersAdditional Skills That Could Set You Apart:Experience with infrastructure as a code (IaaC) tools (pref. Terraform)Knowledge of any reporting ΒΙ tool (pref.
