This role as a FullStack Engineer will be pivotal in building a B2B web application that will be used by various teams across the business and will aim at providing a user friendly layer between the data stack and cloud based data services and the functional teams. You will be building real-time dashboards,  monitoring UIs, collaborative features, on-demand reports, and tapping into emerging trends to provide new experiences to consume data.

You will lead and own the stack for this application and work closely with our data engineers, devops, architects to integrate with our AWS data stack and deploy the application using containerisation technologies.

Purpose of Role

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Python on the backend and modern frontend technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Advise on Python coding best practices
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, devops and architects to deliver a 
• Lead code reviews 
• Implement data visualisation and reporting features using libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or similar tools
• Input into the Digital Marketing roadmap and strategy
• Deliver best in class solutions in terms of robustness, recovery and resilience 

Department

Part of the Global BI and CRM product unit. The team’s objective is to build a full omni-channel analytics and CRM capability

Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python application development (4+ years).
• Experience building web applications and/or web services using Python programming language and one of common web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• Experience with cloud services and database technologies (e.g., Postgres and AWS)
• Experience developing applications using Single Page Application frameworks with a preference for Vue.js or Svelte.js
• Experience working with Typescript
• Enable experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions
• Experience working with websockets and/or asynchronous programming 
• Experience working with a Unit testing framework
