About the Company and the Project:A European firm specializing in the development of embedded systems for applications in healthcare, science, robotics, and high technology is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.With over 25 years of experience in the industry, the company has cultivated a team of more than 150 skilled professionals.The engineers are renowned for their expertise in delivering innovative and effective solutions across various domains including embedded software, web application software, and cloud services. The company’s office is situated in Best, Netherlands.Your Responsibilities in This Role:Designing, implementing, and verifying subsystems, modules, and componentsWriting high-quality, well-structured codeEngaging in problem-solving and debuggingConducting code reviews and providing mentorship to (junior) engineers Over 6 years of experience in embedded software development on platforms such as Linux and Windows.Experience in the high-tech or medical sectors.Proficiency in C++, C, Python, Rust, and/or Matlab.Familiarity with methodologies, techniques, and standards including Object-Oriented programming, UML, Design Patterns, Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and IEC-62304 for Medical Software.Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.English proficiency at B2+ level.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in the Dutch language.
