Senior Golang Engineer

My client is looking for a skilled Golang engineer to help build and optimize high-performance API infrastructure. Join a fast-growing team and work on cutting-edge technology that powers seamless data flow across systems.

About the Role

You'll be working on a high-performance API Router, responsible for processing requests, optimising execution, and ensuring stability. Your focus will be on building efficient, secure, and scalable systems while working with ASTs, execution planning, and protocol translations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-performance Golang codebase
• Optimize performance, security, and stability
• Implement support for various protocols, including gRPC, SOAP, and OpenAPI
• Troubleshoot and collaborate with engineers to refine the product
• Review and accept open-source contributions

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Golang experience in a senior or lead role
• Strong understanding of ASTs, low-GC programming, and benchmarking
• Experience with API gateways, proxies, and networking (bonus)
• Open-source contributions are a plus
• Fluent English and ability to work in CET time zone
