Senior HR Specialist/ HR Assistant Manager

Location: Taipei (On-site)

Description We are looking for:

At SIDE, we are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our growing team. This is a full-function HR role, meaning you’ll be at the forefront of all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and payroll to employee engagement and compliance. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, excels at problem-solving, and has a knack for developing systems that empower teams to succeed.

What you will be doing

  • Leading end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure the timely onboarding of top-tier talent. You will be working with a full-time internal recruiter.
  • Managing payroll, benefits administration, and tax-related processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Overseeing employee relations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving engagement initiatives.
  • Ensuring all HR policies and practices align with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to management by providing data-driven insights and HR solutions.
  • Developing and implementing performance management systems and training programs.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to address interdepartmental HR needs.
  • Driving initiatives related to workplace culture and employee well-being.

What we are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a full-function HR role, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiar with HRMS.
  • Proven experience in C&B, recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of collaborating across departments.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in English reading and writing, as well as effective communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

  • HR certifications.
  • Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Class B) license.
  • Valid English proficiency certification (e.g., TOEIC, IELTS, or TOEFL).
