About the Role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a scalable, high-performance microservices solution. You will be responsible for writing and supporting backend code, integrating various data sources, implementing validation mechanisms, and ensuring secure and efficient service delivery.

 Eligibility Requirements:

Please note: This position is only open to EU nationals due to the need for security clearance at some point in the project.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and maintain backend services in .NET, utilizing common libraries such as Newtonsoft.Json, OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry, Swagger/OpenAPI, Bogus, AutoBogus, and Moq.
✅ Participate in the implementation of a microservices architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
✅ Work with multiple data sources and destinations, including APIs, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, Redis, ActiveMQ, and Graph databases.
✅ Review and approve Pull Requests, maintaining high-quality code standards.
✅ Implement unit and integration tests to validate business logic and performance.
✅ Manage build and release pipelines as well as Test Plans in Azure DevOps.
✅ Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes Helm charts.
✅ Develop and optimize complex SQL Server Stored Procedures.
✅ Create Kibana dashboards and write Elasticsearch queries to monitor and analyze data.
✅ Implement OAuth authentication mechanisms (knowledge of ADFS is a plus).
✅ Follow SCRUM methodologies, participate in sprint planning, and provide accurate estimations.
✅ Write clear and maintainable technical documentation.
✅ Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, logging, and auditing standards.
✅ Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

🎯 Strong expertise in .NET backend development with hands-on experience in microservices.
🎯 Proficiency in working with databases, messaging queues, and cloud-based infrastructures.
🎯 Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Helm.
🎯 Familiarity with OAuth authentication mechanisms.
🎯 Solid understanding of secure coding principles and logging/auditing.
🎯 Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment, following SCRUM best practices.
