The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Coldroom & Cabinet Refrigerated Fabric Repairs and the ability to work with a range of materials. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling components, performing repairs, and contributing to the overall success of our production processes.DutiesUtilise hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to specifications.Perform work tasks as required ensuring integrity and qualityConduct electrical work (if qualified) related to the Fabric process, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Handle heavy lifting of materials and components, adhering to safety protocols.Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.Carry out various surveys in Supermarkets identifying Fabric issues and how to resolve and relaying back to the officeBe able to draw up bespoke parts to be fabricated by our Sheet Metal suppliersSkillsProficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.Experience in electrical works would be an advantage.Strong ability to assemble various components accurately and efficiently.Capability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks.Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.You will be responsible for working within the Supermarket Industry carrying out site visits surveying and repairing various Coldroom & Cabinet Fabric faults .Job Type: Full-timePay: £12.00-£15.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 37.5 per week Full UK Driving Licence required
