As a Shopify Developer at Blueprint, you will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to build and enhance our Shopify store. You will be responsible for developing custom themes, optimizing site performance,integrating third-party applications, and managing updates as we release new products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, and a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates to create visually appealing, user-friendly online stores.
• Implement Shopify apps and integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance store functionality.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience across the website.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bugs and performance optimization.
• Maintain and update the website to ensure it is secure, fast, and functional.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Optimize the store for SEO, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and e-commerce technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify sites.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integrations.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced customizations.
• Experience with health, beauty, and wellness products is a plus.
• Experience with international e-commerce is a plus.
• Experience in developing Shopify apps is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and e-commerce tracking.
• Knowledge of additional front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

Salary Range: $90-110k
