We’re building an intelligent health and fitness platform that acts as a personal AI coach—helping users set, track, and stay accountable to their wellness goals. This is your opportunity to lead the tech from scratch and build an MVP that blends smart conversational AI, habit tracking, and personalized health guidance in one seamless experience.As the founding developer, you’ll bring this vision to life through a thoughtful, intuitive product with real-world impact.Key Responsibilities:Build a scalable, privacy-first MVP web app with both frontend and backend componentsDesign and implement core features, including:Onboarding flow to capture user health metrics (height, weight, body fat percent, VO2 max, etc.)Conversational AI interface (voice/text) for real-time interaction and accountabilitySmart food logging via image input, description-based estimates, and calorie trackingAdaptive check-in system that adjusts based on user preference (from hourly reminders to daily prompts)AI-based insight engine to give health advice and suggest daily habits (e.g., caffeine moderation, magnesium intake)Gamified progress tracking and encouragement systemIntegration of data from health trackers via manual input, screenshots, or OCRCollaborate with founders to iterate based on early user feedbackShip and demo the working MVP with clear documentation Frontend experience using React.js or Next.js, with Tailwind CSS for stylingBackend development with Node.js and Express.js or Firebase (Firestore preferred)Proficiency in integrating OpenAI for conversational interfaces, intelligent suggestions, and adaptive coaching logicFamiliarity with voice and text input technologies like Web Speech API or Whisper APIAbility to handle OCR/image data extraction from screenshots such as Fitbit or Woop dashboardsExperience deploying full-stack applications using Vercel, Netlify, or RenderPreferred Qualities:Experience building full-stack MVPs from scratchFamiliarity with health, fitness, or wellness platformsCreative problem solver with strong UI/UX sensibilityComfortable working in iterative, fast-paced environmentsStrong sense of product ownership and proactive decision-making 1.
