Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in engineering or science who is eager to apply their analytical and problem-solving skills in software development & architecture. Familiarity with AI driven development, low-code platforms and hybrid software architecture (edge-cloud) is a plus.

You will work closely with mechanical and automation engineers to analyze customer requirements, and you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying modern cloud native software solutions that complement industrial automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams of engineers and domain experts to develop cloud native web applications.
• Utilize AI driven & low-code tools to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions.
• Study and implement a variety of edge & cloud architectures to integrate applications with industrial automation systems, IoT platforms, and 3rd party software.
• Communicate with engineers and customers to understand the requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up decision-making and knowledge acquisition.
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to improve the efficiency and functionality of our solutions.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Science or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for software architecture and willingness to learn low-code platforms and AI-driven development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Eagerness to work and learn in the industrial automation industry.
• Experience with Databases and RESTful APIs (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, JSON, etc)
• A subset of the following languages: SQL, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, CSS.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with low-code platforms (Mendix, Power Platform) or common full-stack development frameworks (NodeJS, Django, etc).
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems and protocols.
• Understanding of cloud native & hybrid architectures.
• Familiarity with tools and protocols for IoT solutions (NodeRed, MQTT, InfluxDB, etc).
• Background in Data Analytics & ML.
