TERNA ENERGY is looking for a Tax Manager

Main responsibilities: 

• Ensures the integrity, viability and interoperability of tax compliance
• Prepares annual tax calculations, tax payments, corporate income Tax & VAT tax returns
• Reviews myDATA uploads to relative platforms to ensure tax compliance
• Participates in the computation of Transfer Pricing allocations between entities
• Monitors indirect and direct tax requirements
• Analyzes new transactions to determine potential book-tax differences and other related tax accounting treatment
• Monitors changes in tax laws and regulations to determine proper tax treatment and identifies potential tax credits, deductions and incentives
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, legal, and operations and provide recommendations on tax-efficient structures and transactions
• Supervises the development and maintenance of current Tax Reporting Systems (SAP, BW, Excel)
• Monitors changes in tax legislation and provides specialized knowledge on various internal tax inquiries
• Manages the tax Audits from Tax authorities
• Liaises with internal and external auditors
• Prepares tax reports to management, as required 

Requirements:

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• MSc or/and professional qualification in Tax and Accounting will be considered an asset
• 5+ years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in listed company or Audit Organization.
• Outstanding knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Good knowledge of IFRS and myDATA 
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing will be appreciated
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience in using ERP systems - SAP familiarization will be considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of English language (both oral and written)
