We are seeking a Tech Lead - Electronics with expertise in high-speed board design, PCB layout design, and digital circuit design to drive our cutting-edge hardware development projects. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, oversee end-to-end electronic system design, and ensure high-performance, reliable, and scalable solutions. If you're passionate about innovation in electronics and enjoy working on complex hardware challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  •  High-Speed Board Design: Lead the design and development of high-speed PCB boards, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
  •  PCB Layout Design: Oversee multi-layer PCB layout design, component selection, and routing strategies to optimize performance and manufacturability.
  •  Digital Circuit Design: Design, implement, and test digital circuits, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, and high-speed data interfaces.
  •  Project Leadership: Manage the full product development lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline adherence.
  •  Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, and software engineers) to integrate hardware solutions.
  •  Prototyping & Testing: Develop and validate prototypes, conduct functional testing, debug issues, and optimize performance.
  •  Documentation & Compliance: Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  •  Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering innovation and technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

  •  8+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, with a strong focus on high-speed circuits.
  • Proficiency in high-speed board design, including signal integrity analysis, impedance matching, and transmission line theory.
  • Expertise in PCB layout design, including multi-layer board design, stack-up planning, and routing for high-speed signals.
  • Strong knowledge of digital circuit design, including logic design, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and memory interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Experience with high-speed communication interfaces like PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, and SPI/I2C.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance and best practices for mitigating interference.
  • Familiarity with signal and power integrity simulation tools like HyperLynx or Ansys SIwave.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive technical discussions and mentor teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in RF circuit design and mixed-signal design.
  • Exposure to FPGA-based system design and embedded systems development.
  • Knowledge of thermal management and power distribution in PCB design.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT best practices.

If you set your goals ridiculously high and it's a failure, you will fail above everyone else's success.
