Operating across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, we are expanding our team to include a Traveling Cook. If you’re passionate about cooking, enjoy working in diverse environments, and have a flair for delivering exceptional hospitality, we want you to join our team!Job Overview:As a Traveling Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals across various client locations. You will work alongside chefs to prepare food for daily deliveries and special catering events, while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. This role requires a versatile and detail-oriented cook who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working in different settings.Responsibilities:Prepare all served food, ensuring quality and consistency.Work with the chef to prep for daily deliveries and catering events.Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders as needed.Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations.Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and appliances.Restock office pantries with necessary items, such as coffee, milk, and sweeteners.Ensure compliance with all sanitation and food production codes.Communicate effectively with clients and staff, fostering a positive environment.Manage inventory and help with restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Collaborate with the culinary team to create delicious food and enhance dining experiences.Ensure food preparation aligns with company standards and client expectations. Qualifications:Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or related fields.Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor with clients and staff.Organized and efficient with a strong sense of urgency.A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.Must possess a valid driver's license for travel between locations.
