Howard Financial Services is seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in hospitality, construction, or real estate to join our team immediately. This role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and industry-specific regulations.
- Oversee job costing, project accounting, and cash flow management for construction and real estate clients.
- Assist with tax preparation and audit support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve financial processes
Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounting experience in hospitality, construction, or real estate.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
