Apply NowPiping Technology & Products, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse/Material Receiving Inspector to join our quality control team. The Warehouse/Material Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications before being accepted into inventory. This role involves working closely with procurement, quality control, and production teams to maintain compliance with fabrication standards, prevent defective materials from entering the production process, and uphold the company’s quality assurance policies. .
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).
· Minimum 2-5 years of experience in material receiving, quality inspection, or warehouse operations within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of metal fabrication materials, including steel, aluminum, and alloys.
Skills & Competencies:
· Familiarity with industry standards such as AWS, ASME, ASTM, and ISO 9001.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and purchase orders.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.
· Basic computer skills for data entry and document management (Excel, ERP/MRP systems).
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
· AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or ASNT NDT Level I/II certification.
· Forklift operation certification (if required for material handling).
