STARS Creatives is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for the coding, design, and layout of our website according to a company’s specifications. You’ll be working closely with graphic designers and other developers to ensure the site is user-friendly and attractive. Additionally, you will be involved in the maintenance and improvement of our current website structure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the latest web development technologies and practices, as well as a passion for web aesthetics and usability.ResponsibilitiesWrite well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practicesIntegrate data from various back-end services and databasesGather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needsCreate and maintain software documentationBe responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our siteStay plugged into emerging technologies and trends and apply them into operations and activitiesCooperate with web designers to match visual design intent Proven working experience in web programmingExpertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworksExperience with back-end programming languages (e.g. PHP, Ruby, Python, Java)Familiarity with database technologies (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
