Key Responsibilities

•  Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with IRDAI regulations, the Insurance Act, and all applicable insurance laws and guidelines.
•  Policy Development: Draft, review, and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
•  Risk Assessment: Identify and assess compliance risks, ensuring timely mitigation measures to prevent legal or financial repercussions.
•  Regulatory Filings & Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities such as IRDAI, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
•  Audits & Inspections: Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation and facilitating regulatory inspections.
•  Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to align business strategies with regulatory requirements.
•  Training & Awareness: Conduct compliance training programs for employees to promote adherence to industry laws and internal policies.
•  Monitoring & Updates: Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations, ensuring the organization proactively adapts to regulatory shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•  Experience: 5-8 years of experience in compliance roles within the insurance industry.
•  Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations, the Insurance Act, and insurance-related legal frameworks.
•  Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting policies, preparing reports, and handling regulatory filings.
•  Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess compliance risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
•  Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with regulators and internal teams effectively.
•  Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in monitoring regulatory updates and preparing reports.
•  Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex compliance challenges and provide practical solutions.
