We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer – SuccessFactors to drive development and operations for our HR technology ecosystem. This role acts as the SuccessFactors DevOps focal point, ensuring smooth system performance, driving automation, and enhancing operational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining SuccessFactors Employee Central Core and/or Integrations, while also ensuring a seamless DevOps framework. This includes incident management, release management, system monitoring, and continuous improvement.
The role requires expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, with a focus on automation, scalability, and DevOps best practices. You will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to optimize system functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Operations (60%)
- Develop, configure, and maintain SuccessFactors modules with a focus on Employee Central Core, Position Management, and Integrations.
- Ensure end-to-end system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain system stability.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive problem resolution in collaboration with SAP support.
- Handle ticketing and change management processes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct SuccessFactors release management, including regression testing, feature enhancements, and system updates.
- Ensure seamless integration and synchronization between SuccessFactors modules and other enterprise applications.
Project Implementation & Continuous Improvement (30%)
- Support HR teams, key stakeholders, and business users in utilizing and optimizing SuccessFactors functionalities.
- Work with Global Business Services and IT teams to implement new system features, updates, and enhancements.
- Provide insights into system improvements, automation, and efficiency optimizations.
- Participate in agile development cycles, driving continuous innovation and process automation.
Standards, Training & Personal Development (10%)
- Maintain system documentation, best practices, and training materials for internal users.
- Stay up-to-date with SuccessFactors advancements, SAP community updates, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, data governance, and enterprise-wide policies.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HR Technology, or Business Administration.
- 8+ years of experience in IT application development, DevOps, or system support within a multinational or consulting environment.
- Prior experience as a focal point or team lead in a DevOps or Agile setup.
Technical Skills
- SAP Certified Associate – SuccessFactors Employee Central Core (C_THR81) or Integration Developer (C_CPI_2404) is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central Core, Position Management, and CPI integrations.
- Experience in cloud-based DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and security best practices for enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
