The Role 🎯

As an Accounting and Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring the financial and operational performance of the company. Your main objective is to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial activities while supporting strategic decision-making.

You will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (NIFs) and support financial planning, budgeting, and budget control. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow management while overseeing tax compliance and audits.

You will coordinate with other departments and manage relationships with banks, external advisors, and investors. In addition, you will support U.S. administrative and tax accounting with external advisors, aiming for internal execution in the medium term.

Your insights will contribute to generating financial data for commercial and operational areas, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with NIFs and support internal and external audits.
  • Oversee and ensure timely recording of accounting transactions.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and budget control.
  • Provide financial reports and statements while ensuring proper accounting processes. Generate dashboards to monitor and analyze company performance.
  • Support the coordination and execution of external audits.
  • Develop operational and efficiency indicators with relevant documentation to drive implementation.
  • Optimize financial and administrative accounting processes.
  • Generate and track equity capital metrics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 6 months of experience in comparable positions.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong numerical and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative and proactivity.
  • Time management skills.
  • Commitment to assigned tasks.
  • Critical thinking for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate/Advanced).
  • Familiarity with database usage.

Desirable Requirements

  • Additional certifications in accounting, finance, or administration.
  • Experience with financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of automation tools for process optimization.
