Job Title: Junior Accountant (Bilingual in Mandarin)Job Location: New York City NYJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shiftsLocation: In-person, New York, NY 10016 (Relocation required before starting)Job Description:We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to manage various financial activities, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, while maintaining confidentiality of financial records. Attention to detail and the ability to support other departments and stakeholders in financial matters are essential. This position will report to the Accountant Lead, assisting in the preparation of reports and providing financial recommendations.Responsibilities:Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.Analyze accounting data and provide financial insights to management.Record financial transactions and maintain accurate account information.Assist with tax-related activities.Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers.Manage tax filings and financial obligations.Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Audit financial documents to verify accuracy.Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance.Perform additional assigned duties as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of four years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial reporting.High attention to detail and accuracy.Experience in financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and data entry.What’s Offered:Flexible working hours.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Career growth opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, parental leave, and more.Mentorship program.
