The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to take ownership of our architecture function, working closely with clients to design and deliver high-quality technical solutions. This is a pivotal role where you’ll have the chance to define best practices, drive innovation, and shape the future of our consultancy.

As our first permanent Solutions Architect, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Establish and lead our architecture function, setting technical direction and best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Pre-Sales: Partner with client teams to understand their business needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
• Solution Architecture & Delivery: Design and validate scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software architectures.
• Team Design & Leadership: Configure and lead cross-functional technical teams for successful project execution.
• Technical Audits & Assessments: Conduct in-depth evaluations of client systems, providing strategic recommendations.
• Consultancy & Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting clients with technology strategy, AI integration, and digital transformation.
• Training & Upskilling: Develop and deliver technical training programs for both clients and internal teams.
• Mentorship & Coaching: Support and guide engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Emerging Technology & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, data, cloud, and software, advising on best practices and innovations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role in a consultancy, startup, or agile environment.
• Strong technical expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data, AI, microservices, and API design.
• A commercial mindset, able to balance client needs with business objectives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A problem-solving approach, comfortable getting hands-on when needed.
• Experience mentoring and coaching technical teams.
• A strategic thinker who can connect technical execution with business goals.
