JobType: full-timeWe are seeking a Manager – Data Science to lead a team of data scientists in building machine learning models, enhancing lending strategies, and refining risk assessment frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, fintech expertise, and a deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to tackle complex business challenges.
• Develop and optimize credit risk models, fraud detection algorithms, and customer segmentation strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Business teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Implement machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, NLP) to improve underwriting and lending decisions.
• Monitor model performance, retrain models, and enhance predictive accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and data privacy laws while handling customer data.

Qualifications & Skills:

•  5+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost).
• Expertise in credit risk modeling, fraud detection, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with cloud-based ML model deployment and big data tools.
• Understanding of lending, credit scoring, and RBI regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
