Optimiza is looking for a Senior Communication and Information Technology Policies Researcher to join our enthusiastic team! In this exciting role, you'll be diving deep into the world of communication technologies and IT policies, helping us navigate the complexities of an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate operational goals related to the telecommunications, information technology, and postal sectors, prepare operational plans, project plans, and define targets and performance indicators for the department in alignment with the directorate’s action plan and the ministry's strategic plan.
- Prepare, review, and update policies and strategies related to the telecommunications, information technology, and postal sectors.
- Understand and identify expected future changes related to the telecommunications, information technology, and postal sectors, based on a defined foresight mechanism built on data, and incorporate these into policies, strategies, and legislation.
- Develop performance indicators to measure the extent to which government entities are adhering to their tasks and responsibilities in implementing policies and strategies related to the telecommunications, information technology, and postal sectors.
- Bachelor degree in Communication, Public Policy, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in policy research, with a focus on communication or IT policies.
- Strong understanding of current trends and challenges in communication technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that can engage and inform.
- Experience working collaboratively with different stakeholders in a friendly and approachable manner.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
